Duties And Responsibilities
- Engage with sales and customers to gain an in depth understanding of our business process and expectations of these stakeholders.
- Manage Product Life Cycle from the timely introduction of new ranges to the removal from range.
- Manage Obsolescence across the retail business in collaboration with the branches, suppliers, and group strategies.
- Manage and update the pricing matrix across multiple databases, branches, and customer types.
- Responsibility for the product master data files and supplier pricing updates.
- Ensure pricing is competitive whilst maintaining acceptable GP% levels.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for monitoring profitability.
- Receive and analyse competitor pricing and activities.
- Work with product management & sales to develop mixed product focused promotional pricing strategies.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as necessary.
- Have an in-depth understanding of ERP/MRP and reporting systems used in group.
- Propose ways to improve current departmental performance.
- Assist with take-on data for new stores.
- 10 Years Minimum Automotive Aftermarket experience.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding of wholesale and retail business.
- Product knowledge across all product ranges.
- Ability to work under pressure and after hours if necessary.
