A leading SA brand is looking for a store manager to lead their Cape Town Store.
Job responsibilities:
- Develop business strategies to raise our customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
- Knows the best sellers, the required placement, and ensures that sales are at or above company performance
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Manages all aspects of Loss Prevention and adheres to external and internal procedures for theft, inventory management and operational controls
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
- Install high standards of compliance and hold the team accountable
Job requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years proven retail store management experience.
- Degree in Business Administration or relevant field is essential
- A leader with strong communication skills
- Someone with a good knowledge and working understanding of the financial aspects of running a store
- A passion for customer service.
- Desire and demonstrated ability to develop people to the next level.
- Attention to details coupled with high standards.
- Great delegation and follow-up skills.
- Retail business comprehension.
- Conflict management and resolution skills.
