Ozow is looking for a Revenue Accountant to join our team as we scale. You will keep track of a Ozow's income and any debts owed to the business. You will be a key member of our Finance Team, ensuring we run a world-class financial operation. We are looking for someone who is attentive to detail, thorough, and possesses a strong work ethic.

You are an ideal candidate if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Revenue Accountant, Debtors Administrator or similar role.
• A relevant tertiary degree.
• Hands on experience with accounting software (preference Xero)
• Strong attention to detail
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Good time-management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Have worked in the FinTech industry (advantageous).

Your roles and responsibilities:

• Debtor management and collection
• Monthly statements
• Issue statements to debtors
• Issuing of any other supporting documents to debtors
• Track and report incoming revenue.
• Reconcile payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and manage merchant accounts.
• Attend to merchant queries
• Audit support.
• Ad hoc analysis.

• This position is based in our Cape Town office.
