Support, implement and administer the remuneration and benefits policies and processes within TIH. Conduct research in areas regarding remuneration and benefits in order to predict market trends and make recommendations to enhance the company's EVP in support of the overall business strategy. Assess employee's needs and feedback to support the development of tailored solutions to attract, retain and motivate high performance individuals.
Responsibilities
Remuneration and Benefits Program Design
Contribute to the design and delivery of employee salary structures and benefit programs; deliver elements of the technical design; provide financial, market, and legal analysis and insights; draft internal management proposals and reports. Participate in market leading industry surveys, provide analysis and feedback to support the design of remuneration structures and benefit programs. Differentiate reward design to invest in the segments of workforce that contribute the most value.
Annual Pay And Benefits Review
Support the planning and delivery of the annual review; provide relevant payroll and market data analyses and insights; develop and deliver employee communications and management briefings; prepare line-management decision making tools.
External Consultant or Contractor Engagement
Participate in the selection of external consultants or advisors to deliver key projects and/or ad hoc services; ensure that business objectives and requirements are clearly understood and monitor outcomes, taking appropriate remedial action where necessary.
Information and Business Advice
Provide specialist guidance on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others. Act as a subject matter expert in advising HR and management on the correct interpretation and application of all remuneration and benefit policies, procedures and practices. Prepare and conduct necessary training with internal stakeholders in respect of TIHs Total Reward offering.
Personal Capability Building
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Translate information into business-focused solutions or opportunities, as appropriate.
Job Evaluation
Contribute to the design and delivery of job analysis and job evaluation methods and processes; draft elements of the technical design; facilitate job evaluation programs and/or evaluate jobs, taking appropriate action to ensure consistency of standards.
Document Preparation
Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
Incentive Program Design
Support the design and delivery of employee recognition programs; provide relevant financial, operational, and business performance analyses and insights; draft internal management reports. Support the design of variable pay programs; provide relevant financial, operational, and business performance analyses and insights;
Data Collection and Analysis
Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
General Education
Bachelors Degree in HR or Finance (Essential);
SARA Global Remuneration Practitioner (GRP) Certification (Essential)
SARA Professional Membership (Advantageous)
General Experience
3 - 5 years remuneration and benefits experience (Essential);
Experience in Financial Services (Advantageous)
