The Senior Contract Manager is accountable to manage and execute, within a matrix organisational structure, designated contracts by effectively and efficiently transforming technical requirements, schedule, customer requirements and finance (order fulfilment) into financial prosperity for the Company, to the satisfaction of the client. The incumbent is responsible to identify, develop and manage sustainable project management functions in the development and production environment of an ammunition contract within budget and timescales allotted at the most cost-effective manner in order to grow the business potential and profits of RDM.
- Capture & manage sales orders on SAP in line with the CO PMP.
- Manage and coordinate all designate product contracts though the different functional groups.
- Manage designated projects with regards to schedule, scope and risks.
- Keeping project stakeholders informed on progress and aligned throughout the course of the project by providing timely communication to stakeholders.
- Driving decision-making to ensure the project moves forward.
- Monitoring and ensuring adherence to legal requirements, policies, procedures and other RDM standards to ensure safe project execution.
- Provide marketing and production support.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external customers.
- Effective and continuous communication with all stakeholders and implement detail project schedules and status reports.
- NQF 7 (Bachelors Degree) qualification.
- Project Management Qualification would be advantageous.
- PMP Certification.
- MS Projects Training.
- Project Server
- At least 5 years experience in Engineering projects of which 3 years should be in directly managing with a proven track record of delivered projects.
