Intro:
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a qualified electrician to join an established Solar Company based in Potchefstroom.
We are looking for a strong individual that can take charge, who is trustworthy, enthusiastic, energetic and must be able to think on their feet. The ideal candidate will be immensely proud and confident in their work.
The successful candidate will also be required to travel to clients throughout South Africa.
Requirements: Experience & Qualification
- Management of installation team
- Ability to sign off on COC for single phase, three phase and Solar (Not negotiable)
- Green Solar Qualification Would be beneficial.
- Experience with installations, maintenance and repair of Solar Systems and Solar related products
- Ability to be analytical, provide advice on installations, quotes and maintenance
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Experience in supervising and motivating a team of installation technicians and assistants.
- Ability to work under pressure and keep high personal and ethical standards
- Computer literate MS Office, Google Docs, etc
- Must be able to work independently and be very organised
- Valid Code 08/EB Drivers Licence and own transport.
- Flexible and willing to work after hours when required.
- Knowledge of statutory health and safety.
- Quotations and handling of queries with potential customers
- Daily planning and scheduling of all installation activities.
- Daily management and communication with technicians and customers
- Conducting routine inspections, maintenance and fault-finding on solar installations.
- Timeous and accurate filing of all required documents.
- Reporting to management on a regular basis.
- Perform any other reasonable tasks.
