Looking for a roaming merchandiser who will be responsible for the merchandising function being implemented in retail stores.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensuring there is sufficient stock in the stores at all times;
- Merchandising and categorization of magazines, books, part works, toys, sweets, collectables, DVD/CD’s related entertainment products and Stationary Products.
- Customer service;
- Growing of sales.
Job requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Fluent in English;
- 6 months retail or merchandising experience.
- Code 8 driver’s license;
- Reliable motor vehicle;
- Willing to work on public holidays as and when required;
- Reliable cellular telephone (must be able to take and send pictures, send and receive e-mails, etc.);
- Be responsible for quality of work;
- Be able to meet scheduled deadlines;
- Be able to work under pressure;
- Must be able to walk and drive long distances; stand for long periods of time; do lots of bending; stretching and squatting;
- Must be able to carry weights up to 8 kg (magazines, products).
