Robben Island, Cape Town: SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
Duration: To start 1 April 2022, for a 6 months period only
Minimum Requirements:
-Fully bilingual with excellent English proficiency
-Bcom Accounting Degree or Chartered Accountant qualification obtained (Qualified Accountant)
-SAIPA/SAICA Articles completed
-Solid post articles financial accounting experience, preferably in Government industry
-Sound experience in budgeting, accounting, forecasting and resource allocation in a developed organization (preferably within the public sector)
-Proven ability to manage, train, coach, develop and motive staff
-Project monitoring experience
-Reporting and financial management experience with varied compliance obligations
-Experience in financial and contractual matters in public sector preferred
-Computer literate, specifically in SAGE 300
-Attention to detail
-Stable employment record with contactable references
-Clear Criminal and ITC Record
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Full Senior Financial Accounting duties
-Year end Audit planning
-Year end preparation
-Overseeing Audit process
Salary: Negotiable depending on relevant experience (Market related)
