Senior Financial Accountant

A well-known business who rents and sells mobile access and lifting equipment for a variety of applications
across different industries is currently looking for Senior Financial Accountant to join their team.

Job description for the Senior Financial Accountant:

• Creditors - review full function.
• Bank and cash (loading of payments, cash recons, etc.)
• Credit card recons
• Fuel card recons
• Cell phone account recons
• All intergroup recoveries and recons
• IFRS 16 lease rental journals and management
• External audit assistance
• Assisting with the preparations of branch accounts
• Maintenance of the FAR
• Overseeing month-end processes
• Day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Ad hoc duties as required.
• FEC management

Qualifications:

• Must have B Com degree qualification or equivalent.
• Preference will be given to CIMA candidates
• Strong people and communication skills
• Strong character and analytical skills
• Working experience in a related industry will be advantageous.
