- Support with the Employment Equity (EE) Committee
- Act as company Skills Development Facilitator (SDF)
- Maintain and control SETA budget
- Compile and submits skills reports to the SETA
- Coordinate and log all internal training and learnerships/apprenticeships
- Coordinate with Consultant and Shareholder regarding training unemployed and disabled people and learnerships to ensure maximum BEE points for spend
- Liaise with Shareholder on possible Supplier Development (SD) and Enterprise Development (ED) to ensure maximum BEE points for spend
- Coordinate any ED initiatives with Shareholder
- Identify, coordinate and maintain process to meet Empowering Supplier criteria for Skills Transfer
- Coordinate and manage Preferential Procurement as per BEE codes
- Vetting of all new vendors for BEE compliance
- Act in role as gatekeeper for new vendors in terms of BEE requirements
- Sourcing and maintaining BEE certificates from all suppliers
- Regularly audit existing vendor database to ensure highest level of BEE compliance and to rationalize supplier database
