About You
This is a great opportunity for an S&OP Assistant looking to kick start their career in an ambitious scale up. Were looking for someone who has strong numerical abilities, is confident working with excel and most of all is a keen team player and keen to advance their S&OP knowledge and capabilities!
The main focus will be on managing day-to-day stock control processes and playing a key role within our reordering process. Attention to detail is key and you should be able to prioritise and plan your work according to deadlines. Youll be owning a range of tasks which will give you exposure to practical skills across the Operations Department which will need your problem solving capabilities as new issues arise and supporting the Operations team with ad hoc project work.
Reporting to our Senior Demand Planner, youll be joining our agile and talented Operations team. We love problem solvers and showing initiative and a keenness to learn will be key to success in this role. Well be asking you to hit the ground running, learning the ins and outs of our S&OP function, getting to grips with our ERP system and stock control environment so you can develop a broad understanding for delivering on stock and SKU management and providing Operations related support across the business.
Heres The Role In a Nutshell
- Determine rebuy quantities for all SKUs to keep within agreed inventory parameters and allow us to achieve/exceed our financial revenue goals
- Partner closely with our Marketplace Department to ensure stock availability on Amazon and Walmart
- Liaise with our Production team in order to determine production priorities and plans
- Track and update SKU statuses on Shopify and on our ERP system in order to ensure a smooth Customer Experience
- Own the process of creating and updating bundle SKUs on a regular basis
- Own the process of updating website selling prices on a regular basis
- Own our freight processes end to end, managing multiple shipments at the same time and ensuring they are all delivered on time
- Use your data insights to help support key business and strategic decision making
- Youll have previous experience working in a professional environment, preferably in an Operations setting
- Youre able to communicate clearly with an excellent standard of spoken and written English
- You have strong numerical ability with great Microsoft excel skills
- Youre a keen team player and a quick learner!
- You love attention to detail! You understand that your accuracy is critical to our Operations
- You are adaptable and have the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with SQL, Python and PowerQuery is preferred but not required
We have a hybrid approach to working at Mous so our team can have flexibility during the week, and we can retain the collaborative and vibrant Mous culture that people love. If working in London (UK), we expect people to come into the office at least two days a week but some teams opt for more as its beneficial for their workflow. Our office is at WeWork in Hoxton and as part of the perks of a WeWork location, youll have access to regular on-site activities including such things as yoga, painting, and cookery classes.
If working from elsewhere, we've established a smooth set-up for collaborating remotely, and you'll still be a core part of our weekly whole-company meetings as well as any virtual socials (Pictionary, anyone..?!).
