JOB PURPOSE:
  • To lead and implement the SBU Strategy (short, medium & long term business plans) by developing and managing a portfolio of strategic, international customers and by directing and motivating other service disciplines such as Technical marketing, Logistics and Finance.
  • To achieve the SBU objectives ( volume, profit margin improvement, customer criterias, market share) of the different business groups, while adhering to their respective strategies & policies and overall mission of the Business Units.
  • Lead the Polymers business in the region by introducing new products based on SABIC Business restructuring and segmentation.
KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:
  • Introduce, Develop and implemente sales and marketing strategies in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa for Polymers according to Operational Objectives.
  • Make sure that Sales are performed with the best net back to the company conciliating the best Win Win Environment between customers and BUs pricing policy. Communicate with concerned SBU in regard to allocation, pricing and major problems.
  • Supervise all related BU sales responsible to ensure that all set plans and sales process including on time delivery and after sales support are achieved.
  • Provide various SBUs with clear, reliable and on time information about the market environment, competition and sales performance, throughout solid and reliable sources.
  • Regular market visits in Region. (Commercial, Technical, Courtesy, Responsive) Monitoring handling of sales activities to customers in Morocco and West Africa.
  • Prompt response and handling of customer requirements complaints in all business aspects, commercial, logistics as well as technical.
  • Monitor and Eliminate payment failure risk while increasing Sales Volumes.
  • Reflecting SABIC image, culture, and values inside and outside the Office.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales/Marketing or equivalent.Fluent English.
  • 8-10 years experience with at least 5 years in International Sales.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strategic Focus, planning and organizing
  • Ability to run and manage effective meetings
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strong analysis, problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Interpersonal relationship and communicational skills"

  • Identifies possible improvements for discussion
  • Identifies, engages and builds sustainable relationships with external stakeholders to gain support in the industry, government and community for SABIC and its priorities.
Work Availability
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Applicants must be regularly available and willing to work (e.g. Monday Friday)] during assigned hours of operation and such other hours as the company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
