Sales Administrator

An exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator has become available within the Edwin Doran Sports Tours Sales Team.

Our Experience Education business incorporates our fantastic brands, SkiBound, Travelbound, Edwin Doran & Masterclass, World Challenge and JCA Adventure. The EE division is part of the Travelopia Group, a KKR owned company, and is a leading provider of educational travel offering a wide range of experiences for students in the UK and Australia: from ski and adventure breaks to international travel supporting core curriculum subjects, sports tours and expeditions to places near and far.

The sales support role works with the UK based sales team to service the many requests for quotes and packages from the playing tours market. The role will involve supporting the Sales Managers with constructing life changing tours and packages for our customers, many of which we have been working with for over 40 years!

This is a hybrid role covering Monday to Friday (08:30 17:30). Our office is in Century City, Cape Town, and we ask for you to be able to come into the office two days a week.

What you will be doing:
  • Create sales proposals and exciting tour itineraries via our web-based platform.
  • Gather costs from our online booking system Travelink to finalise tour packages for the sales team.
  • Act as a link between the sales and operations team to ensure all sports tour proposals are accurate and workable, logistically and financially.
  • Update Hubspot our CRM with accurate figures for monthly reporting.
  • Research and prospect potential new touring destinations for a range of sports.
  • Design fascinating PowerPoint Presentations for parents and staff.
  • Research potential new clients and leads for the sales team and booking meetings.
What we are looking for:
  • Experience in the travel industry
  • Experience using Travelink reservations system.
  • A knowledge of sports tour destinations and the school sports market is advantageous, but not required
  • Passion for exceeding customer expectations.
  • Experience using a CRM system to monitor leads and sales (ideally HubSpot).
  • Sense of fun and ability to work in a small office team and remotely with UK.
  • Confidence in communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lastly, an interest or curiosity in sports is always welcome!
