The SME Sales Advisor is responsible for generating revenue and achieving sales targets by selling Metropolitan solutions to small and medium-sized businesses, with emphasis on building strong relationships, understanding stakeholder business needs, and providing solutions that meet those needs.

- Product and solution competence
- FAIS requirements based on DOFA date
- Industry specific knowledge
- 2 to 5 years of industry related experience
- Demonstrated experience in salesand advisory capacity
- Proven track record in maintainingcorporate clients and face to faceengagements
- Verbally and numerical fluency

- Demonstrate sales behaviours(deal with difficult clients, competitive, achieving, persistent)

- Understand the Group Life and Group Funeral products and solutions offered by the organisation and keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
- Initiate a plan of action to target identified Small Medium Enterprise owners and stakeholders to effectively create interest in proffered solutions.
- Identify and contact potential SMEs through various methods, such as cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
- Track and measure sales performance through meeting or exceeding weekly sales targets.
- Build relationships with SMEs takeholders to understand their needs and provide viable interest and uptake on the saleable solution options.
- Analyse client needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services.
- Successfully navigate the policy administration system platform to exhibit business solutions with finesse, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process, displaying a deep understanding of the solutions, and resolving possible issues in the process.
- Provide product presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders, showcasing the benefits and features of the solutions.
- Generate quotes for SME stakeholders using the policy administration system platform and manage renewals to retain clients across the annual contract period.
- Actively manage scheduled visits with SME stakeholders and maintain strong relationships through regular follow-ups and continuous engagement.
- Produce reports that track sales activity and progress, including updates on successful sales and pipeline forecasts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify ways to increase sales revenue and achieve organisational goals.
