To provide an efficient organizational and administrative service to the Sales and Client Relations Manager team, helping to manage and prioritize their time more productively.
Responsibilities
Sales and CRM assistance
- Provide efficient and effective assistance and support to the Sales and Client Relations Manager team
- Manage and maintain the diaries for the Sales and Client Relations Manager team members
- Cold calling and setting up of appointments with prospective new clients
- Schedule appointments with existing clients and follow-up meetings
- Prepare quotations and proposals for the Sales Representatives
- Obtain pricing for rebates on quotes / proposals and compile and prepare costing sheets
- Assist in compiling and submission of tenders
- Follow-up on e-mails and requests from the Sales team
- Assist with WastePlan events and functions as required
- Carry out any other duties which may be required within the overall function of the job
- Updating of company folders on the shared drive with updated tender / company documentation
- Compiling and timely submission of reports as required for all reporting meetings
- Compile and maintain sales reports
- Compile and maintain the Client Relations Manager client visit report on a daily basis
- Compile and submit the Client Relations Manager schedule
- Providing any other support and information to the Sales and Client Relations Manager team as required
- Provide assistance in preparing contractual documentation for new and existing clients
- Assist Sales with quarterly board reports
- Reception / switchboard duties on an ad-hoc basis
- Agendas, attendance registers and minutes for Sales / Client Relations Manager meetings as required
- Ensure all action points on meeting minutes are actioned on time and appropriate feedback is given to relevant parties
- Order promotional material (folders, envelopes, pamphlets, brochures, business cards) as required
- Ensure all promotional material and equipment (banners, gazebos etc.) are stored neatly in the storeroom and cleaned before and after use for events and functions
- Accurate filing and record keeping of all documents and records as well as general assistance with binding, scanning, copies, etc.
- Identifying system improvements and innovations that may result in more efficient and effective work processes
- Assisting in the implementation of systems and controls, to ensure policies, procedures and related / acts are complied with
- Minimum Matric. A relevant Diploma or Degree will be an advantage
- A minimum of 3 years experience in relevant field.
- Relevant qualification and experience, knowledge and skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
- Valid drivers license
