Sales Associate
What This Position Is About Purpose
The sales associate position is a key link between Marketing plans and trade execution. This position is responsible for the execution and implementation of initiatives and the achievement of set KPIs to deliver volume targets within a geographical area in the core and/or main market (including urban and/or township areas).
What Will You Do Responsibilities
- Execute the required merchandising principles in each outlet, maximizing the visibility of the relevant JTI SKUs and brand communication to the consumer
- Drive the company's volume targets and prevent any possible out-of-stock situations by ensuring that retailers/wholesales in the area have and order adequate stock, understaffing, and utilizing tools provided
- Drive, through negotiations at the outlet level, price relativity with key competitor brands in the allocated outlets in the area
- Negotiate and execute the implementation of national and/or regional programs/agreements (trade programs and/or agreements) at the outlet level - as per business targets and program/agreement mechanics and objectives
- Build in-trade relationships in the allocated outlets in the area around true partnerships with the purpose of achieving a triple win (JTI, customer, consumer)
- Collect, interpret, and feedback on trade and industry information to assist the business in decision making
- Degree in sales marketing or other relevant education in sales
- 2 years of sales experience in FMCG
- Microsoft Office, Word, Excel & Data Analysis Skills
- Communication and presentation skills
- Good Knowledge of English and the Local language will be a plus
