Our Client is looking for a Sales Consultant with experience from the Funeral Insurance Sector to generate revenue and achieve sales targets selling funeral insurance solutions to clients, with emphasis on building strong relationships, understanding stakeholder business needs, and providing solutions that meet the client's needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the organisation's funeral products and solutions on offer and keep up to date with industry trends and advancements.
- Initiate a plan of action to target identified clients and stakeholders to effectively create interest in proffered solutions.
- Identify and contact potential clients through various methods, such as cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
- Track and measure sales performance through meeting or exceeding weekly sales targets.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide viable interest and uptake on the saleable solution options.
- Analyze client needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services.
- Successfully navigate the policy administration system platform to exhibit business solutions with finesse, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process, displaying a deep understanding of the solutions, and resolving possible issues in the process.
- Provide product presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders, showcasing the benefits and features of the solutions.
- Generate quotes for stakeholders using the policy administration system platform and manage renewals to retain clients across the annual contract period.
- Actively manage scheduled visits with stakeholders and maintain strong relationships through regular follow-ups and continuous engagement.
- Produce reports that track sales activity and progress, including updates on successful sales and pipeline forecasts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify ways to increase sales revenue and achieve Organizational goals.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5 years Sales Consultant experience and knowledge with a specific focus on the financial or insurance sector
- Product and solution competence.
- FAIS requirements based on DOFA date.
- RE Certification is mandatory
- A valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle is essential.
- Must be tech-savvy and computer literate.
- 5 years of industry related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in sales and advisory capacity.
