- Customer facing - Beverage and Filling sales across the region focusing on the Beverage Technology portfolio.
- Region: South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zambia, Malawi, Angola, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, Comores, Seychells, Mauritius, Madagascar and Reunion
- Plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities in conjunction with agreed budgets (Order intake, Sales, Gross Margins)
- Achieve sales related budgets and focus on growth opportunities in entire region
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual visits
- Increase market penetration and coverage by regular face to face meetings and interaction with customers and potential customers
- Carry out market research on competitors and market surveys
- Attend training sessions Local, International and eLearnings online to develop the relevant knowledge and skills.
- Support product development projects and contribute to define priorities
- Record all sales activities on the Customer relationship management platform
- Manage Leads / Opportunities / Complete visit reports after every meeting load this on the CRM Platform
- Be a self-starter in order to complete tasks in a timeously manner
- Create a culture of continuous improvement and be an outgoing Sales person that is looking for work
- Background in Engineering
- Min 5 years relevant experience in similar functions (within the Beverage industry preferred)
- Significant front sales experience, in a technical environment
- Proven sales track record
- Proven superior skills in international negotiation & contracting with customers in countries across the world
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
- Language requirements: English
- Extensive traveling required for the role
