We are recruiting for a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining a customer database, promoting Eaton products and services, and providing technical and commercial support to customers. This role involves identifying opportunities, resolving problems, and acting as a deputy to team leaders.
What Youll Do
- Achieve sales targets while adhering to Eatons market strategy;
- Stay informed about Eatons products and market strategies;
- Manage and promote channel sales through a distribution model, which includes joint calls with our distribution channel partners to End users, IT resellers, value added resellers, panel builders, MOEMs and System Integrators;
- Prepare tenders and proposals using MS Office tools;
- Possess strong commercial knowledge;
- Create and deliver presentations on product offerings and technologies.
- Develop and maintain a customer base;
- Identify opportunities to offer Eaton products and services;
- Resolve problems using established policies and improvement techniques;
- Act as a deputy to team leaders, coordinating team activities and advising colleagues.
- A Commercial or Marketing Degree / Diploma;
- 3-5 years sales experience in Electrical products.
- Good understanding of IT channel or EWS route to Market;
- Ability to use the xEnergy Configurator, XSpider Software (Circuit breaker cascading and co-ordination tool);
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment;
- Ability to coach and train people / customers.
