As the technical liaison between customers and sales, your role involves establishing and nurturing relationships with both potential and existing clients, presenting a professional and continuous presence. Your objective is to secure customer acceptance by showcasing the technical advantages, unique selling points, cost reductions, and operational improvements of our clients products or services through compelling demonstrations. Addressing customer inquiries and providing detailed technical information on our offerings is fundamental. You play a crucial supporting role for the regional Head of Sales during customer interactions. Your primary responsibility centers on handling requests for proposals (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and addressing any technical clarifications required by customers. Additionally, your tasks encompass the preparation of 2D and 3D layouts as well as the creation of technical reports to support the sales team's efforts.

Education Requirements
  • Tertiary Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
Experience Requirements
  • 3+ years of sales or customer liaison experience
  • Experience and comprehension in engineering single-axis trackers, especially in wind-related engineering for large-scale solar projects, would be highly beneficial.
  • Prior experience in Pull Out Test campaigns or working with foundation design parameters would be advantageous for this role
  • Proven record of projects
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical liaison between sales and customers, fostering strong relationships with both potential and existing clients while maintaining a consistently professional demeanour.
  • Use demonstrations to secure customer acceptance by highlighting technical advantages, unique selling points, and improvements in cost and operational efficiency.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide detailed technical information regarding products, services, or equipment.
  • Provide essential support to the regional Head of Sales during customer interactions.
  • Prioritise handling and processing requests for proposals (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and addressing any subsequent technical inquiries from customers.
  • Create 2D and 3D layouts as part of the role's responsibilities.
  • Generate technical reports tailored to support the sales team in their daily operations.
