Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan weekly sales activities via Outlook Calendar
- Attend company meeting and discuss leads and opportunities with other team members
- Arrange and attend meetings with new and existing clients
- Utilize a call cycle to maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Attend site meetings for tenders, projects and sales enquiries
- Attend compulsory tender meetings
- Demonstrate products to clients in our demo room and at the clients premises
- Attend to daily quotations and leads within 24 hours and follow-up on quotations within 48 hours
- Load leads, quotes and clients onto Reddot and update opportunities on Reddot
- Offer sales advice to customers and resolve queries telephonically or through e-mail communication, teams meetings and customer visits
- Arrange and present end user seminars (actual and web seminars)
- Tender searches on Mondays and Thursdays, arrange documentation collection, drop off and payments as well as tender quotations and specifications
- Attend exhibitions, forums, conferences and SIG meetings
- Prepare and maintain marketing crates and exhibition arrangements
- Maintain product knowledge by attending training sessions and self-study
- Assist with achieving company target through other ad hoc duties
- Report activities to Director and National Sales Manager
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement.
- A relevant degree or diploma is an advantage.
- Any medical and marketing qualifications would be a definite advantage.
- Medical experience is a preference and previous experience in a similar position in the Medical Industry would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the target group of customers will be an advantage.
- Computer literacy and proficiency on MS Office, specifically Excel (level 2 at least) and MS Word is a requirement for this position.
- Clinical and product knowledge will be a definite advantage.
- Existing relationships with customer base will be a definite advantage.
