Summary
The Sales Executive Africa role is a position within the Consumer Authentication business unit of HID Global. The candidate will be expected to have an excellent level of knowledge and experience of the IT security environment within the banking industry. The Person will be working in a competitive target driven environment and will be required to source his/her own clients with the support of the HID Global brand and company infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Introduce new business to achieve or exceed yearly targets.
Maintain & develop relations with existing clients in your portfolio
Identify business opportunities, potential clients, and affiliate customers.
Source and convert leads into sales; ensure high quality interaction with potential clients and high profile contacts.
Strategically plan new business/product opportunities for revenue growth.
Build a network of Partners to further drive revenue growth.
Drive new account sales by demonstrating the benefits of the companys products and services. Keeping up to date with all new products and services.
Keep CRM and other internal systems updated.
Implement GAP plans and strategic initiatives in SalesForce.com (SFDC)
Qualifications
University degree
Minimum 3 years of sales experience and inside sales, preferable B2B or B2C
Africa experience is an advantage
Must fluently communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
Multilingual is an advantage
Experience
3+ years Sales or inside sales, business development experience in closing deals in for IT vendors or IT Services companies (sales experience and/or experience in the Authentication market or HID products is a plus).
Experience working with direct end users as well as partners and understanding of both direct and channel centric go to market approach. Need to have direct touch experience
Experience in selling Digital Channel IT solutions
A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.

Ability to create presentation materials to deliver messaging on new corporate initiatives and services.
Computer Skills
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
Experience with CRM, such as Salesforce is a plus.

Work Requirements
Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
Intensive travel and fieldwork, including international travel will be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport, multiple passports due to VISA requirements
