Our client specialises in spa facilities and home automation in the greater Gauteng area. They sell and install various products including, jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, home theatres, and other home automation products.
About The Position
Our client is looking for a vibrant, "go-getter" - sales executive to add to their Home Automation Team. The sales executive will cover the greater Gauteng area.
Requirements
- Must have at least 4 years of sales experience, or 2 years sales experience with sales skills training.
- We are looking for a hunter-type sales person who is young, ambitious and hungry to close the deal and make sales, however with a high degree of honesty & integrity.
- Will be highly advantageous to have experience in dealing with projects (longer sales cycle), and building industry like architects, developers and interior designers.
- Must live within 20 kilometers of Randburg (Fourways, Randburg, Sandton, Roodepoort, Northcliff etc.) not from Pretoria or JHB East Rand etc. (too far away from Randburg)
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Well spoken & written English communication skills are non-negotiable.
- Self-motivated and organized.
- Must be honest & open. Not just catch-phrases but these are very important character traits required.
Working hours
- Monday Friday, 7:30am 4.30pm.
- Every 3rd Saturday 9am 1pm
- Whenever required to do so in order to achieve necessary sales targets
- Monthly sales targets must be met in order for the business to remain profitable.
- Deal with sales enquires walk in, telephonic and emails.
- Mainly dealing with individuals but also to build project pipeline by calling on Developers, Architects, Interior Designers and Quantity Surveyors
- Do site visits as needed.
- Be actively involved with the marketing of the products and company.
- Have an up-to-date LinkedIn page and be active or regular posting on our companies social media pages (Facebook & Instagram)
- Provide detailed quotations and specifications to every enquiry received within 24 hours.
- Work on our CRM system on Monday.com to attend to incoming leads from incoming calls & emails, exhibitions, and leads that have come through from online marketing.
- Keep the CRM system on Monday.com updated with all prospects details & interactions prior to the sale being made, thereafter the customer will move onto a different system within the business.
- Assist clients with ideas and any necessary requirements stay informed with latest trends regarding home improvements especially where a spa, jetted spa bath, sauna, steam room or decking are involved in home improvements this will help you to help your customers by assisting them with designs and installation ideas.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of sales techniques, home improvements, latest product & industry trends and market opportunities.
- Maintain a suitable & appropriate dress code all the times, this includes clothing that is neat and clean (including shoes) and grooming that is neat and clean (including hairstyle & facial hair).
You will be required to meet minimum monthly sales targets due to the basic salary and there will be a good commission structure in place to incentivize sales performance.
