- Serve as the primary point of contact for Digital Power Medium Voltage Products within Anglophone Africa, providing comprehensive sales support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive active sales efforts towards Schneider Electric's EcoXpert Partners and end-users, ensuring alignment with sales targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with the extended Schneider Electric sales team to effectively manage sales activities, including pipeline management, lead generation, and opportunity qualification, maximizing sales effectiveness and revenue generation.
- Contribute to the growth of the Digital Power - Medium Voltage products business by identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights, providing valuable input for product development and strategic decision-making.
- Engage and coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as the prescription team, solution architects, technical experts, and supply chain to ensure seamless collaboration and support in delivering comprehensive solutions to customers and partners.
- Assist Schneider Electric's partners in optimizing product selection and developing competitive offer quotations, considering both technical and commercial aspects.
- Assist in creating sales collateral, presentations, and proposals, tailored to the needs of EcoXpert Partners and targeted customers, to effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of Energy Automation products.
- Cultivate strong relationships with EcoXpert Partners, key customers, and industry influencers through regular communication, meetings, and technical support, enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Identify and lead consultant prescription activities towards end-users for the respective offer/solution, aiming to establish Schneider Electric as an approved/preferred supplier.
- Continuously stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in Digital Energy Automation, ensuring a deep understanding of the market landscape and maintaining a competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical/electronic engineering, power systems) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales and technical support experience in the Energy Automation sector, specifically covering protection relays, RTUs, or substation automation.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully meeting sales targets or providing efficient technical support.
- Strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in delivering presentations with confidence, effectively captivating and engaging audiences.
- Possess a balanced blend of autonomy and teamwork, working well independently while collaborating seamlessly within a team.
