The role
We're looking for highly motivated lead generators to join our sales team. You will be responsible for cold-calling using a Salesforce auto-dialler. Estimated call volume c. 150 calls per day.
Your objective is to find out information regarding a businesss shipping profile (Where they ship, who they use, how much they spend) and contact details for the decision maker.
Whilst this is a lead generation role, the reality is, to obtain the above information, you will often be asked to explain who ParcelHero is and what we offer, so there is a sales element to the role as you will need to have a strong understanding of our offering and be able to present this well.
You will have an attractive bonus structure in place for hitting targets, and we offer strong prospects for progression for over-achievers.
Responsibilities
- Create valuable leads by cold calling, email, and social media
- Communicate effectively with prospects to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Identify potential leads through various channels such as LinkedIn, business directories, industry-related websites, and more
- Self-motivated and ambitious. The more you learn about logistics, the more this will help you articulate the value of our solutions and generate quality leads
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and lead nurturing
- Excellent spoken and written English
- At least 2 years sales experience
- A thick skin, you should be able to take knockbacks in your stride this role will reward you well but there will be some tough days!
- Not taking yourself too seriously this is a tough job, but a sense of humour makes it a lot easier!
- A willingness to learn and progress
- Familiarity with Salesforce (or a similar Sales CRM)
- Highly motivated, target-driven, with a proven track record in achieving sales or lead generation targets
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
