The position the client is looking to fill is an Internal Sales role, which requires this person to make connections and contact with potential clients, research their needs and requirements, and to set up appointments once there is an established connection for possible business.
The company will provide the training and expertise around the products so as to understand the types of companies that you will need to approach in order to start the sales process. You will also contact existing customers to ensure they are happy and do not require additonal service.
Job Description
- Contacting potential customers to understand what they do, the problems they may experience in their and whether there is a potential need to find a solution.
- Contacting customers to set appointments following lead qualification.
- Providing information about the product and solution.
- Conducting meetings to provide practical examples, and demonstrations.
- Handling questions and concerns about the solution.
- Understanding the products from a technical and application perspective.
- Following up with customers to understand whether the solution will be purchased and in what timeframe.
- Providing brief installation and orientation training.
- Updating tasks with relevant information, communications, and emails.
- Speaking to current customers about the success of their solutions and understanding what can be improved upon.
- Marketing and related tasks - checking social media posts, information on website, receiving images and text from principles. Adding new pages, products and blogs to the website.
- Updating sales tasks and pipeline tasks.
- Google Ads and Analytics metrics and Google Ads management.
- Website updates - Working with Jolene for complex updates and security related issues.
- Updating tasks for continuity of information for colleagues and future reference.
- Presenting sales and marketing metrics and reporting.
- Assisting with support calls and questions relating to customer issues.
- Using LinkedIn to research potential companies and customers that could require solutions.
- Finding the decision makers within an organisation and making contact with them to understand their problems and pain points they may be experiencing.
- Communicating the value solutions could provide their business.
- Setting up calls or online meetings to better investigate a customers needs so that the solution can be presented to address those needs.
- Researching potential companies by accessing industry websites and their members.
- Regularly contacting current customers to investigate further opportunities for business
