Sales Manager - HR & Payroll

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to manage a Sales team in the Medium Business, focusing mainly on Payroll & HR. The manager will be responsible for driving new

business opportunities, ensure consistent growth through onboarding of new logos. Maintain a consistent high level of service delivery. Crucial part of this role will be meeting with

current customers, new customers, and BPs face to face, educate and promote the business through enough communication, relationships, business analysis audits finding and other

account analysis. Maintaining and growing the revenue and gross profit of each account ensuring they remain profitable in line with annual targets.
  • Responsible for managing a Sales Team in the medium segment.
  • Develop team members to exceed goals using a multifaced approach that includes
coaching, training and goal setting/ tracking and implementation of development

plans.
  • Drive team dynamics.
Skills, know-how and experience:

Must have:
  • Strong leadership skills demonstrated in ambiguous and changing environments.
  • Experience in building a team to focus on driving projects, including the
process/procedure development. Team player with ability to share knowledge.
  • Self-starter and independent thinker with the aptitude to work.
  • Clear understanding and ability to drive results through others.
  • Proven track record in developing or contributing to short, medium, and longterm plans to achieve strategic objectives, monitoring those plans, and adjusting
as needed.
  • Skill in building relationships and collaborating across functional areas and with
senior management to ensure objectives are met.
  • Able to influence thinking and gain acceptance and negotiate difficult matters to
influence policy.
  • Direct and ensure the implementation of operational policies personally and
through subordinate manager(s)
  • Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to
creatively sell to all decision-making levels

Technical / professional qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in the
Payroll and HR industry
  • 5+ years in management role (Beneficial)
  • Drive and ensure quota achievement per product line.
  • Measure existing KPIs, pull actionable insights, and build/maintain dashboards and
reports that illustrate progress against quarterly basis.
  • Building relationships between teams and Business Partners.
  • Drive instant execution within the teams.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly sales volumes for budget / resources planning and
be able to present to leadership team.
  • Responsible for recruiting/hiring process, ensure onboarding and continuous
training for ASM Reps
  • Interlock with sales reporting on sales opportunity quality with clear pipeline-based
opportunities.
  • High level project management of all new contracts and services to the prescribed
clients.
  • Advising on changes and trends in the marketplace and competitor activities
