Responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion for our sport science, rehabilitation, and orthopaedic products. Lead a dynamic team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative environment aimed at achieving ambitious business objectives.
Qualifications/experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, medical and/or Sport Sciences degree or a related field
- Strong understanding of the sport science, rehabilitation, and orthopedics markets, including relevant trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Previous experience working with athletes, sports teams, or rehabilitation professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and drive business results.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical/medical industry experience of which 2 years at Senior Managerial role
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets and market share goals.
- Lead and inspire the sales team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to maximise individual and collective performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand the company's presence in the sport science, rehabilitation, and orthopaedics markets.
- Oversee the development of compelling marketing collateral, including digital content, advertising campaigns, and promotional materials, to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform product development initiatives and refine sales and marketing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and synergy across all aspects of the business.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, sports organizations, and corporate clients, to drive customer acquisition and retention efforts.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, KPIs, and financial indicators to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales and marketing to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
