JOB PURPOSE:
To achieve maximum sales profitability and growth within the assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Calls and services existing customers and obtains orders by planning daily work schedules in order to achieve monthly sales target/budget.
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in assigned territory and market segments to generate new business
- Contacts clients telephonically and in-person visits to present and sell products
- Compiles written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers as and when requested
- Investigates and resolves customer problems and complaints
- Plans and organises personal sales strategy by maximising the return on time investment for the territory/market segment
- Provides management with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, competitive activities and potential for new products
- Keeps abreast of competitive activities, market conditions and promotional trends
- Participates in trade shows
REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS:
- Matriculated
- Sales qualification
- Sales experience - 2 years
- Selling skills
- Negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills (building relationships)

Basic salary – +/-R12k per month (negotiable) +
- Commission – a percentage of basic on sales over 105% of budget
- Fuel Allowance – Company card with R2000 petrol limit
- Car Allowance – R1800
- Cell phone allowance – R1000
- Medical aid – Discovery, company covers 50%
- Provident fund – Company contributes 3% to savings and cover group life (about 6%) and employee contributes 5%
