This role has a balanced OOH portfolio, and you will be responsible for retaining and growing the current customer base over multiple portfolios; including exposure to OOH Distributors, QSR/FSR, and a diverse balance of trade (BOT) customer base. Maintaining collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through identifying new business opportunities, to achieve common goals and long-term sustainable profitability.
A day in the life of...
A GT Sales Rep:
- Implement successful plans & promotions at Customer (Local and Regional level to drive sustainable portfolio growth:
- Performance against sales targets and promotion evaluations, while cementing product application through customer demos.
- Management of sales territory and achievement of monthly and annual targets:
- Daily / Weekly /Monthly call cycle, Sales reports, Customer Business Reviews, Customer activities and Contact reports.
- Apply outstanding Customer Service Relationship Management - Investigate and resolve all Customer queries and complaints relating to GT business:
- Monthly AR meetings, weekly WOR and DM Reports, Customer feedback and daily problem solving.
- Understand and analyse customer needs and provide solutions accordingly:
- Listen to customer needs, complete ROI, and prepare customer proposal for presentation).
- Follow up and report back on leads:
- Managing pipeline and reporting.
- Identify and close new business opportunities:
- Qualify potential new customers with appropriate solution to aid with either growing existing customer base, or aiding direct purchasing via new account opening
- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience - with a proven track record of business development in FMCG industry.
- Degree/Diploma Bcom, Sales & Marketing, Finance, or related
- PC literate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Unendorsed drivers license - Code 08
- Previous experience as Sales Representative, Key Accounts or Field Sales will be advantageous
- Comfortable with problem solving, organised, self-starter, team player who is comfortable with face-to-face customer interaction.
