The Sales Representative will manage the day-to-day sales in the specific channel for Independent Pharmacies, Dis-Chem, Spar and / or Top End. This role requires regular travel and will be responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts (current and new). This role will manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery according to the set monthly and annual targets, meeting a target number of sales of a companys product or service within a period of time. The Sales Representative should also be able to remotely supervise a team of Promoters and set profitable goals. Ultimately, this role will ensure the specific channels meet and exceed the expectations of the Companys business objectives and contributes to the Companys success in the long run.
Requirements:
- Matric; relevant qualification advantageous.
- 3-5 years experience within Supplement / Nutrition / Sports / Pharmaceutical / Health Industry.
- 3-5 years experience as Sales Representative within FMCG environment.
- Valid drivers license & own vehicle.
- Understanding all facets of the business from supply chain to consumer.
- High level of professionalism, acting with integrity and demonstrating sound work ethic.
- Strong negotiation skills and prospect research experience.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Ability to produce high quality and accurate work under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments within tight deadlines.
