We specialize in handcrafted Ironwood smoking pipes and are urgently looking for a Sales Representative to join our team!
We are an on-line store who sells handcrafted Ironwood smoking pipes, the first and only supplier in the world of such a rare and exotic product!
You will be working only from Mon-Fri.
Your job description:
- Your job is to find clients in your area and to start building business relationships with your clients, building your own client database to sign up orders from Tobacco / Curio Shops and to other retailers, you can also sell to the public except on-line.
- Send orders and client information to Accounts department.
- Send daily report to Sales Manager.
- Following up with your clients and keeping them updated with new products.
This role requires someone who is able to work on their own, have passion for sales and someone presentable and target driven.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years solid sales experience essential.
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Clear criminal record.
- Organized and have time management skills.
- Target driven.
- Fluent in English / Afrikaans.
- Have own reliable transport.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Know how to close deals and handle client relations.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!
What we have to offer:
We offer you freedom! No need to go to the office every morning, you will be doing your daily office work at home. Time management and organizing skills are essential if you want to prosper in this job.
Salary: We do not offer a monthly salary, nor fuel allowance or cellphone allowance; you will be earning commission only.
We are offering you R50 per pipe sold. If you can sign up with 1 retailer taking 10 pipes a day, you could be earning R500 a day. Plus, we are expanding our on-line store! We will be supplying medium and large pipes as well as new imported products and local items within the next 2 months. You will earn commission on every item sold. What you earn is depending on your sales ability.
Salaries paid out weekly (every Friday).
Targets: To stay a team member you have to at least sell 20 pipes a month.
