Sales Representative– Hardware/Building Industry
A position has become available for a Sales Representative to join a dynamic and rapidly growing organization supplying to the hardware industry. The successful candidate will be required to consistently drive new business whilst growing and developing their existing customer base in order to achieve sustainable revenue growth, whilst taking the business to the next level.
Job Summary:
The key purpose of the position is pro-active prospecting of clients, pipeline management, effective customer acquisition, growth and retention action plans. Manage and develop a sales area to produce excellent results, meet sales targets and deliver overall customer service quality.
Minimum 3 – 5 years hardware/building sales experience with proven track record and database.
Key Deliverables:
- Take full accountability for the sales area: plan, organize and drive day to day sales activities in order to meet sales objectives
- Ensure organic growth, increase profitability and overall financial success
- Solid negotiation skills,
- Establish a realistic monthly action plan to achieve sales targets
- New business acquisition
- Research competitors and know how to best defend and grow market share
- Build long-term, value-based customer relationships with retailers, wholesalers and other key industry contacts
- Excellent presentation, negotiation skills and highly persuasive.
Essential requirements:
- Must be willing to travel.
- Own reliable vehicle a necessity
- 3 - 5 years solid sales experience within the hardware/building environment with a proven track record and database
