Job Summary
Join Global Markets team in senior FIC Fundamental Sales role. Suited to a candidate with at least 10 years experience in SA markets, either in a Sales or Research role. Will need to have the relevant markets relationship. A CFA designation would be preferable.
Job Description
Key roles will include:
Client coverage
- Marketing of our FIC research views via regular engagement with Absolute, Balanced and FIC Portfolio Managers buyside firms
- Cross asset ideas generation with the Equities Team on stocks
- Hosting clients events covering National Treasury, SARB and political engagements Thought leadership generation
- Hosting relevant conferences
- Client feedback to Sales and Structured Trading
- Weekly meetings with FIC trading to discuss macro and market views
- Intraday comments on market news and events including politics
- Generate data on client positioning
- Collaboration with Coverage Bankers and Syndicate on opportunities round NBFI clientsProvide feedback on macro research client meetings where possible
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
