Job Function:
- Competent advice and sales of our products.
- Fight off competition attacks and secure the company's growth path.
- Maintain and improve relationships with existing customers.
- Build relationships with new customers.

- Identify new business / growth opportunities and generate long-term contracted value for Our client in line with set targets.
- Conduct effective potential customer engagements.
- Strong understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
- Identify potential customers pains/objectives and effectively provide solutions through the companys products/services.
- Develop contact base with all new customers through Salesforce organisational structure mapping.
- Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline (Salesforce).
- Track and report on the status of proposals / projects.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process (through Salesforce).
- Secure sales volumes through implementation of contracts with customers.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Management of daily relationship with set customers to ensure MPS is offering a high level of service in line with agreed SLA objectives.
- Create network of contacts within set customer-base.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with customers.
- Review MPS sales against budget for set customers to ensure MPS is meeting budget. Act as required to ensure budgets are being achieved.
- Perform cross-selling activities to existing customers to assist in MPS sales performance and achieving sales budget.
- Identify bundling opportunities to expand existing business (increase share of wallet).
- Assist in Service Level Agreement discussions.
- Assist with customer proposals and presentations.
- Attend customer review meetings on a monthly / quarterly basis.
- Ensure correct forecasting of New packaging to meet customers monthly requirements and to assist in production planning.
- Demonstrate value-add services to customers.
- Identify packaging sourcing opportunities and act upon.
- Raise any areas of concern regarding service levels or any customer complaints with management immediately.
- Prompt addressing of customer complaints to ensure they are resolved within company committed timeframes
Skills & Competencies:
- University degree or technical/commercial focused apprenticeship
- Experienced with MS Office
- Pastel
- Salesforce
- Proficient English (isiZulu / Afrikaans beneficial)
- Packaging and market know-how
- Minimum 4 years in Sales preferably in the packaging industry
- Hands-on mentality,
- Self-initiative,
- Assertiveness,
- Team and customer-orientated work habit,
- Negotiation skills,
- Willingness to travel 50%
