Ages: 5 year old son, 9 year old son (High functioning autism) and 11 year old daughter
Working hours: Mon Fri: 06:30 - 17:00 - With a break during the day while the children are at school
Start date: 08 January 2024 - Permanent role
Duties: Complete management of the children's schedules: Taking the children to school in the morning, taking the dogs to the dog park in the mornings, doing grocery shopping, making shopping lists, creating meal plans, running family errands, ensuring that all the clothes and equipment is ready for the extra-murals, packs school lunches, ensure the bags are packed for the following day, have lunch for after school ready, collect from school, take to extra murals, help with homework, communicate with the staff, organise play dates, coordinate children schedules, engage in educational and stimulating play, communicate with the parents and school.
Requirements: Age 25 30 years old. Patient, takes the initiative, is independent, can set boundaries and stick to them, empathetic and organised. MUST love children, and someone who can commit long term.
Salary: R15500 per month plus SARS Rates (R4.64) per km
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
- Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
- Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a passion for children
- Must have Matric
- Must have a South African ID document.
