To lead the execution of strategic objectives, as well as the management of key risk areas of exchange control advisory function. To manage the overall relationship with the exchange control authorities, clients, internal and industry stakeholders. To provide advice to clients and internal stakeholders on the exchange control related matters as well as assisting with solutions to complex transactions and exchange control applications.

Key Areas Of Responsibility
- To develop, maintain and implement the Exchange Control Compliance Framework, as it pertains to exchange controls requirements, across all business areas
- To ensure that business is undertaken in a compliant manner to avoid operational losses, fines, penalties or reputational damage to the organisation and enables the competitive advantage of the organisation
- The role requires an expert in Compliance with profound knowledge of the full dimensions of the field, but deep expertise in Exchange Control, cross border transactions and foreign exchange
- Regulatory environment savvy, a proven ability to influence all levels of employees to effectively implement compliance frameworks
- Strong written and communication skills are required as you will be responsible with communicating with the regulator and stakeholders
- Degree in Business Commerce or Legal
- Exchange Control Compliance 5+ years
- 3-4 years, solid experience in the provision of exchange control advice as well as leading people
- Deep experience in risk mitigation within the Exchange Control environment
- 5-7 years, sound experience in banking
- In-depth knowledge of the Currency and Exchange Control Manual for Authorised Dealers (CEMAD); Technical and specifications documents regarding the Cross-Border Foreign Exchange Transaction Reporting System; Business Management
- Proven track record to effectively manage a team of Excon administrators
