Purpose of Job

The purpose of the role is to provide a continuous input and support into maintenance planning and project planning activities, by applying the Work Management Process and its business rules at an operational level, with the goal to optimize efficiency and optimum resource utilization.

Key Accountabilities

Compile & Present Monthly Plans & Reports on Capacity, workload, material availability, product cost, section cost.

Draw up Gantt charts & Swimlane Charts for work to be executed.

Categorize work according to criticality/priority (apply priority guidelines and test emergency/urgent work for noncompliance to guidelines)

Ensure Material & Services Availability for each planned job - follow up outstanding, delayed requirements.

Facilitate Plan do Review Meetings.

Provide accurate and on-time feedback and reporting.

Do accurate Data Gathering and Analysis SAP & Excel reporting.

Draw insightful and accurate conclusions from data.

Be Cost conscious and ensure product costs are within budget limits.

Co-operate with all role players to achieve cost effective, on time and safe execution of work activities.

Monitor the execution of work activities and note deviations from program daily.

Draw up & Edit process flows.

Understand how SAP transactions impact the business objectives and planning processes.

Positively react to feedback and recommendations to continually optimize planning processes.

Understands and complies with the relevant and appropriate regulatory, government and legal requirements applicable to ones role.

Handle issues effectively whilst keeping the business units best interests in mind.

Support Health & safety in the workplace.

Manage 1HR for direct reports.

Continuously improve own skills and knowledge.

Complete, implement, and track personal development plan to attain personal performance goals.

Formal Education

Grade 12 / N3 with Mathematics and Science

Technical Training or Trade Test with practical experience

Licenses

Valid Driver License

Working Experience

Experience: 8+ relevant years
