Minimum Requirements
Diploma in electronics
Management Training
10 years' experience in electronics (hardware and software) and IT (hardware, networks and software)
3 5 years' experience in a leadership
Knowledge of company product
Good computer skills (Microsoft package)
Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act
Knowledge of company policy and procedures
Own Vehicle
Hardrock experience (Advantage)
Preferably from the area (Welkom or/surrounding)
Responsibilities
Leadership
- Responsible for overall employees work performance on relevant sites.
- Evaluate the work of Supervisors to ensure they are working according to company standards.
- Identifying training needs and ensure that training is completed.
- Evaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignment and work techniques.
- Effective management of employees, including mentoring.
- Responsible for the overall technical performance and organization of designated branch/area.
- Implementation of strategies to avoid risks and uncertainties within the designated branch / area.
- Improve the operational and support systems (including HR, Finance and QC), processes and policies in support of the organization's mission specifically, management reporting, information flow, business process and organizational planning.
- Develop annual budget in conjunction with sales Representatives and Sales Executives.
- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers by directly interacting with clients.
- Attend and present presentations for customer meetings
- Troubleshoot problems that the technicians are having on site and determine route cause of issue and recommend a corrective action.
- Managing of stock level at sites.
- Notifying head of departments of technical problems.
- Suggest new ways to deliver improved technical performance.
- Recruiting for the area.
- Training of employees and customers.
- Compiling and submitting of monthly reports of feedback of the area/region, products and efforts made.
- Adhere to all customer safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure compliance is maintained at all sites.
- Implementation of strategies for growth within designated branch/area.
- Identify business opportunities for the technical support function within the area of responsibility.
