About The Role
As a Data Engineer I you will analyze complex datasets, generate insights, and develop data-driven solutions to enhance business decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. Commencing January 2025.
Responsibilities
- Ability to Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of simple complexity.
- Solving simple bug fixes.
- Assisted by senior-level engineers, implement development processes, adhere to coding best practices, and participate in code reviews to achieve success.
- Assisting in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Solving basic technical issues as necessary.
- Researching and implementing new data science techniques and technologies to improve processes.
- Basic oral and written communications skills.
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
- Display knowledge of data storage subsystems.
- Have knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Maintain knowledge of data manipulation languages.
- Have understanding of data modeling principles.
- Understand applicable development languages Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net.
