The Make it Good Company is excited to partner with an award-winning, cutting-edge (medium-sized) creative agency in the search for a Script Writer for a weekly TV talkshow/podcast that focuses on the world of football. This show will talk about previous games, future matches, and have a special part about sports betting and additionally have appearances by famous guests.

Responsibilities
- Keep up-to-date with all football news, like game results, player changes, and league rankings.
- Write interesting and true scripts for weekly talks, interviews, and special parts, with a focus on sports betting.
- Work closely with hosts, producers, and others to improve show content and adapt to changing sports stories.
- Bring fun and engaging ideas for show segments and guest interactions to entertain our viewers.
- Make sure all content is accurate and on time.
- Over and above this, there will be a requirement for the writer to write various editorial articles for Smash Sports on a regular basis.
- Breakdown of the work is as follows:
- Talkshow/podcast Script
- Written article - Monday morning weekend football wrap
- Written article - Midweek opinion piece.
- Previous experience as a sports journalist or content maker, with a strong portfolio that shows your ability to interest and inform people.
- Deep knowledge of football, including teams, players, and what's happening across leagues.
- Can deliver great work even when you're working to tight deadlines for weekly episodes.
- Excellent at researching, writing, and editing, with a talent for telling stories that are both factual and have your own opinion.
- Have a good sense of humor that adds a fun touch without taking away from serious discussions.
- Know your way around sports betting and can talk about strategies and odds in a way that's easy to understand and keeps viewers interested.
