Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Conveyancing Secretary to join our team. This position offers the flexibility of working from home during the hours of 3pm to 11pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for real estate transactions, focusing on conveyancing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative tasks related to property conveyancing, including drafting legal documents, contracts, and deeds.
- Conduct property title searches and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with legal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, real estate agents, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and site visits as necessary.
- Maintain organized records and files, both electronic and physical, ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Provide support to attorneys and conveyancers as needed to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
- Own laptop/computer with reliable internet connectivity and backup power source.
- Stable Wi-Fi connection capable of supporting remote work requirements.
- Previous experience in conveyancing and real estate transactions, particularly in dealing with tenants.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with relevant legal software and tools is a plus.
