Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher (Special Educational Needs Teacher) to join our team. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring that they receive the necessary assistance and guidance to reach their full potential. You will work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:
- Collaborate with other professionals to create personalized IEPs.
- Modify and adapt curriculum materials to meet individual needs.
- Deliver engaging lessons that promote student engagement and participation.
- Provide differentiated instruction to address individual learning challenges.
- Continuously assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals to develop and implement effective support plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the success of every student.
- Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
- You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
- You will have relevant teaching qualifications (teaching degree with QTS or equivalent)
