Industry: Old Age home
Salary: R25 000 CTC pm (Medical Aid Included)
Plus, a one (1) Bedroom Flat with 3 meals daily will be provided.
It will be expected of the candidate to stay on the old age home premises.
Candidates who are willing to relocate at their own cost and who meet the requirements are welcome to apply.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Minimum of 5 Years’ experience as an Accountant with people management skills
- Minimum of 5 Years’ payroll experience
- Financial Qualification relevant to the position
- Computer literate (Pastel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Own reliable vehicle
Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial & Accounting Duties:
- Financial Management and overseeing of the financial department.
- Accounting Duties
- Prepare TB for Financial Statements
- Compilation of financial statements
- Management Statements
- Vat Submissions
- Audit inquiries
- Debtors and Creditors’ accounts management
- Managing Cashflow
- Yearly budget planning and cash flow statements.
Payroll Full Function:
- Salary reviews, submission, etc.
- EMP501 / EMP201
ADHOC Duties:
- People Management.
- Monthly meetings and feedback to the directors on a monthly basis.
- Understanding and application of contractual requirements.
- Assist with appointing and training of the personnel.
- Assist with the overall management of the old age home.
- Planning of future extension of services.
- Oversee and understand the requirements of the department of health and conditions of subsidy welfare programs.
- Responsible for inspections and for the certifying thereof.
- Communicating and interacting with occupants of the old age home is important.
- Communicating and interacting between the community and occupants is important.
