Paymentology is looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst in Latvia or South Africa and deliver best in class financial processes and governance for the future.
You will be responsible for invoicing clients, establishing best in class collections process, including engaging with clients for payments, and supporting the automation of invoicing procedures to enable future scaling. You will provide support to Finance Directors and Managers as part of the wider finance team of Paymentology Group.
The preferred candidate will have previous experience, be able to adapt to change, and someone who enjoys working with in a dynamic fast paced environment. This role will suit someone with a strong work ethic, who is looking to make an immediate impact on an exciting growth-stage company.
What you get to do::
- Be responsible for all invoicing and accounts receivable ledger of Paymentology tokenisation business, including reconciliations and bookkeeping
- Prepare monthly invoicing and reach out to clients to ensure timely payment in case of delays
- Responsible for group wide collections process of late payments
- Propose processes improvements and automation proposals for better efficiency
- Support audit processes, liaising with group and local auditors
- Preparation of relevant reports
- Accounting qualification with a strong academic record
- Proven experience with accounts receivables processes, invoicing and controls
- Previous experience with late payments collections, including of negotiation with clients for payments, being able to confidently engage with key clients stakeholders for collections
- Knowledge of processes automation, being able to previous experience with invoicing automation and improvements
- Fluent in English.
- Sage ERP (and modules) experience preferred but not a requirement
- Excellent analytical and communication skills (both written and oral), preferably with commercial exposure in previous roles
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven self-starter with experience of being able to work independently, hands-on, focused on delivering outcomes and results, juggling and prioritising across workloads and consistently meeting deadlines
