Duties Would Include But Not Be Limited To
- Spearheading the planning, execution, and concluding phases of audits
- Conducting pre-engagement activities, including establishing a clear audit approach in collaboration with clients
- Identifying planning priorities, such as materiality assessments
- Articulating the audit strategy and its progression to partners and senior managers on the project
- Skilfully reviewing and crafting financial statements to ensure compliance with IFRS
- Evaluating the going concern status of entities and their operations for the foreseeable future by scrutinizing forecasts
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Currently in the articles of clerkship process and studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
- 3 years articles (post articles studies)
- 3 years Audit experience
- Newly Qualified CA(SA) would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, Caseware and Pastel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
