Our client is an award-winning, leading firm of accountants and business advisers, based across the UK and overseas. They are now looking for a full-time Audit Seniorto support the delivery of a range of audit and accounting services for a large portfolio of clients.
About The Role
This role would suit an ambitious and professional individual, looking toprogress their career in auditing. Reporting to the Partners and Directors, theAudit Senior willundertake a variety of accounting and auditing responsibilities forclients across a range of different sectors.
Key Aspects Of The Role Include
- Preparing statutory financial statements from client data, highlighting high-level risk areas or matters of concern to the Partner and Manager;
- Completing audit fieldwork, planned substantive and analytical audit procedures, normally on site at client premises;
- Planning the execution and finalisation of the audit assignments for Partner and Manager review, ensuring audit files have appropriate and sufficient documentation;
- Liaising with clients to build strong relationships, dealing with queries quickly and efficiently;
- Leading and managing the work of other team members, providing advice, mentoring and coachingto support their continued professional development.
The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or have equivalent experience, with experience working in general practice.Theywill understand the importance of strong client relationships and be able to efficiently deal with multiple clients with differing requirements.
The position would suit an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, who is able to both lead and work as part of as team. They will be confident in using a significant degree of their own judgement and initiative to ensure a high level of service is delivered.
