Job Mission
To provide end to end analytics solution to address the business needs using BI technologies.
Analyse data, build datasets when needed and reconcile with the data source. Analyse the
requirements and propose the best solution to the users. Maintain the existing platforms and monitor
the data loadings. Support the users and train them. Support the BI team and provide quality review of
their developments. Contribute to the best-in-class mindset within the team and promote best
practices.
Key Activities & Accountabilities
- Ensure maintenance of the BI platform, including users management.
- Monitor the processes and data flows and bug fixing.
- New Release testing.
- Document, design, implement and reconcile solutions.
- Enrich the existing data model based on changes happening in the source.
- Work in collaboration with the BI team and the end users to propose the best analytics to meet the needs.
- Lead the BI team.
- Take ownership on projects and stories, communicate the progress with the project team and the BI team.
- Update stories, and log the time based on the activities.
- Quality review of the developments done by the team and advise on the architecture and the presentation.
- Guarantor and mentor of best practices adoption.
Bachelors degree in computer science and higher.
Experience
- 7+ years of experience of BI solutions, including ETL and vizu tools.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and a programming language.
- 5+ years working with end users to define requirements and propose solutions.
- Experience with one of these tools: Salesforce / Tableau / CRM Analytics / Python / Snowflake.
- English is a must and French is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with end users to define requirements and identify solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent visualization skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to speak both business and technical language.
- Experience in Sales or Marketing (Google Analytics) or Finance Reporting.
