Job Purpose
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in identifying, analysing and evaluating new business opportunities for the company. This individual will work closely with the C-Suite of the organisation and other key senior leaders to identify areas of growth and potential new revenue streams.
This is a senior level role and will require someone who is able to take a strategic approach to identifying and evaluating new business opportunities. The Senior Business Analyst will be a key player in driving the companys growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
- Develop business plans and financial models to support the evaluation of new opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enter new markets and expand existing ones.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and partners to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Continuously evaluate and optimise existing business operations to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Act as a bridge between technical and business stakeholders; and
- Participate as a key resource to the Account/ Project Manager and Delivery team.
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in IT Integration Projects ideally delivering within a fast-paced customer-focused/ sales-driven environment.
- BCom or BSc Degree or Diploma such as BTech, or related IT qualification.
- Certification through FTI, IIBA such as BAFP, CPBA, or AdBA, or equivalent preferred.
- Agile/ Scrum Certification.
- Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle models.
- Programming languages such as SQL.
- Business Analysis tools such as Visio, Lucid, Draw.io, Miro, MS Office
- Exposure to MS Office, Project Management and Testing Tools such as Confluence, Jira, Postman, Selenium.
- Intermediate knowledge of both Agile and traditional Project Management principles and practices.
- Produce relevant artefacts: BPMN Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams & Entity Relationship Diagrams, C4 diagrams and other relevant artefacts.
- Self-driven, Self-sufficient, with strong problem-solving skills
- Evidence of successful involvement in project delivery of software development/ products
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop financial models.
- Proven ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and ability to think outside the box.
- Exposure to Identity Verification project environment
- Banking/ financial and retail systems knowledge would be ideal
