ENVIRONMENT:
A Senior Sales Business Development professional is being sought by a global IT service provider to assume a vital role in the sales process, with a primary focus on lead generation and qualification. Working closely with a dedicated Business Development Manager, you will bring your expertise as an experienced Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate new business opportunities and assess leads through strategic outbound prospecting and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies. Your responsibilities will extend to managing and optimizing the lead generation process, utilizing your skills and knowledge to engage potential clients, nurture relationships, and contribute to the company's revenue growth. Additionally, you may take on coaching responsibilities to assist the sales development team in adapting to the ever-evolving IT industry.
DUTIES:
- Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting and lead nurturing.
- Research and gather information on potential clients to understand their needs and pain points.
- Work with the commercial team in development of prospecting campaigns.
- Utilising a variety of channels, including phone, email and social media to engage with potential customers and qualify leads.
- Collaborate with cross-function teams to align on messaging, solutions and services of the Company brand and ensure consistency in outreach efforts.
- Produce a targeted number of meetings for aligned BDM per month.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Provide regular reports and insights, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions using CRM and SalesLoft.
- Tertiary qualification (preferable)
- CRM Software -Dynamics & SalesLoft
- Analytical thinking
- Experience training and coaching junior members of the team
- Fluent in English.
- 5 years experience within a similar role or business development environment
- Customer relations skills: ability to understand and comprehend customer concerns and requirements.
- A desire for continuous learning and career development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
